This list is still ongoing, because I have a lot of inspirations and feelings.
Frida Khalo
Frida Khalo is definitely one of my biggest inspirations, where do I even begin? She's the reason why I picked up a paintbrush and decided to learn how to paint. She's also the reason why I gave oil painting a shot. She portrayed her deepest emotions on her canvases, which is something I want to emulate someday.
Eiichiro Oda
Currently one of the best selling manga artists in Japan. So good he even beat the guy who inspired him to draw in the first place. I must really admit, when I first read One Piece I was slightly put off by his awkward, cartoony style. I couldn't put it down and I've been reading it for more than 8 years! Through One Piece, he taught me everything from characterizations, storytelling, pen and ink techniques and even basic color theory.
Diego Rivera
Apparently my paintings remind people of Diego Rivera, who I really like as an artist. He inspired me to look more into Mexican art and to be inspired by it. It is also because of his influence that Frida Khalo started dressing in Tehuana clothing, so in a way he inspired me to look (and hopefully travel to one day) into the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
